About Her
While being semi-confined during CoVid 19 I have been writing poetry which expresses my feelings-including those things of which I am passionate about those things not so much.
I have actually learned a few things about myself while writing as the same themes keep coming up: Passions include my grandchildren, jazz, water, stance on social issues, education, beautiful things, cultural diversity, cooking, poetry, expression of emotions, my faith and a sense of humor. Things not so passionate: computer age, social upheaval, medical incompetency...and did I say the computer age? Being a mother and grandmother has been the most rewarding experience of my life. My professions have provided meaning for my life: inner city elementary teacher, supervisor of student teachers, assistant Psychology professor, trainer, president of training firm, hospital chaplain, chaplain to veterans, writer of educational materials and poetry. I continue to write and serve others and will continue to do so until I am unable to do so.
