About Him
I may be in my thirties now but in my head I'm still the youth fresh out of university. I'm not much of a party animal - I'm far more comfortable watching a film, playing video games or reading a good book - but I love exploring new countries, meeting up with friends and going out on my bike on the weekends.
I'm a bit of a dabbler and will try most things once - amongst my vague bucket list of aspirations are becoming fluent in a foreign language, writing a book and visiting every continent.
I love opportunities to sharpen my wit or indulge in a little wry humour so being around anyone with a similar attitude is always a bonus!
One of the things I want to improve about myself is the frequency that I read the Bible, and perhaps deeper theology too. It would be amazing if I could find someone to study, discuss and grow with as I do this.
About His Ideal Match
Being quite bookish and with a passion for learning new things, and sometimes a bit of a traditionalist, it would be great to meet someone who shares these traits.
More important, though, would be to find someone who wants to have fun together, whether at home or abroad, someone who is looking to listen and encourage and in return be listened to and encouraged, and someone who knows that sometimes the best way of spending a weekend is to just put on a film and eat a pizza together.
I suppose other ideals would include someone who shares my style of humour and my tendency to quote films, someone who would enjoy joining me on bike rides and someone who could look past my somewhat-lacking cooking skills and perhaps teach me a thing or two.
